The Mekong Delta is a region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River empties out into the ocean. While I may have ended up on the problem tour of the Mekong Delta, this region of Vietnam is full of lush vegetation and natural appeal.

My one idea is that you do your research study when it pertains to the company you're going to be booking your tour with. I wished to squeeze in some beach time while I was in Vietnam, so a little stop in Nha Trang provided a nice seaside break. While this location may fade in comparison to some of the lower recognized islands in Southern Thailand, I thought it was a sufficient spot-- the waters were warm, the sand was clean, and because the beach is so spread out, in some cases I had the whole location to myself.

I will say that the town of Nha Trang doesn't provide much in regards to culture. There are a few side trips you can take-- there's the regional fishing village, the Long Kid Pagoda which is the home of an enormous reclining Buddha, and the Po Nagar Cham Towers which were constructed by the Cham civilization-- nevertheless, this is predominantly a beach town.

I rave about Hoi An anytime individuals discuss travel in Vietnam. This was among those standout destinations that I'm still considering a year later.
